Special write-off included in the half-year financial report

While group sales during the first half of 2011 increased by about 27.5% to € 13.4 million (previous year: € 10.5 million), group net income before tax (EBT) and before special write-off amounting to € 888 thousand has been reduced to – € 307 thousand (previous year: – € 6 thousand) owing to a special write-off amounting to € 1.2 million. Group net income according to IFRS therefore amounts to – € 795 thousand.
This special write-off refers to software purchased as part of strategic business unit expansion and which, according to current recognition, will not result in a marketable product.
Owing to the otherwise positive sales and revenue trend, the Management Board currently does not consider correction of revenue forecast for the financial year 2011 to be necessary.

This cooperation is based on the product “Embedded Archive Storage” (EAS), marketed by EASY ENTERPRISE SERVICES GmbH and being the market-leading solution in the OEM market for digital archives. conjectFM, the standard product of conject AG for infrastructure lifecycle management, will therefore include the revision-proof archive functionality of EAS from the next version. “This extended functionality will enable us to significantly improve legal compliance and confidence of documents and data in real estate management and CAFM processes,” says Frank Bögel, Manager Development CAFM at conject AG.
The legally compliant archive function is implemented through the KPMG-certified “Embedded Archive” module from EASY ENTERPRISE SERVICES GmbH. Besides conjectFM, it does not require any additional IT infrastructure in order to run. This allows users of conject FM to implement legally compliant long-term retention of their digital data without additional document management (DMS)/Archive Server in a cost-efficient manner. Of course, such an installation can also expand with the needs of the conjectFM end users in the DMS environment and later be extended to a full version of EASY ENTERPRISE products.

EASY SOFTWARE launches ECM subsidiary for Cloud
